NAMIBIA: Light Tremor Confirmed

Every Sunday we drive the 30km to our closest village, Kamanjab to take Alexandra, our oldest daughter to the drop off point from where she takes the bus to her Boarding School in Outjo.

This Sunday around 3:45pm we thought we were imagining when we suddenly felt the earth move but seems it was after all a tremor, confirmed by Dave Hutchins, chief geophysicist at the Geological Survey in Tsumeb, Namibia.

The tremor hit northern Namibia and is estimated to have measured between two and three on the Richter scale. Several people phoned the Newspaper to report the tremor that was only confirmed on Tuesday - Amelia
